Hosein limited was a label I produced to be sold in the “Elected Creatives”
section at ThriftCon. The garments where largely up-cycled and hand
made from vintage and sustainably sourced fabrics. These are images I
directed and produced for the collection.
I titled this project MIA (Missing In Action). Inspired by the story of my
great-grandfather. In WWII he went MIA and was presumed dead. A short time
after, he showed up at my grandmothers door. She would tell me
this thrilling story; reminding me to be resourceful, resilient and proud.
I carried these values into the collection and proudly presented it to a youthful
fashion forward consumer.
After showing at both Atlanta and Portland, the collection was fully sold out.
The Collection was then featured in a Chicago fashion magazine.
